XenoRex PoT Mod Project Announcement and Update




Hello all! Some of you may know me through a game known as Path of Titans (PoT).
I recently was asked by a good friend to help with an idea of adding a fanmade design known as the Xeno-Rex into the game as a mod. I recently acquired this model from a user on cgtrader by the name of Anubisstudios. This model is actually meant for 3D printing but I'll be using it as a mod instead. Alot of work will be required such as rigging, UV mapping, textures, etc. So because of this I've sought to reach out to him in hopes that he may be able to provide an A-pose model or even a low-poly version.
This is a very high poly model and one of the best I've ever seen out there.
My job will be to port this into the game basically.

Challenges faced on the Path of Titan modding development

Hello all, although I will be working on rigging, animating, and UV mapping some of the Xeno models I've acquired from Anubisstudios, I'm still faced with the challenge of being able to port the models themselves into the game with the officially supported mod tools provided by the Devs at PoT. I have been waiting several weeks for a response so I will resubmit my application tonight in hopes that maybe they'll see it again. The effort put forth towards rigging a model will be pointless if I cannot gain access to the tools or get ahold of someone with the tools and assist me in porting some of these models. To help with that process I've been looking at 3D models of Sabertooth Tigers and Phoenix birds. Here's a fantastic model created by Rozy1418 that I may use for testing the official Mod Tools and see just how easy it is to port characters into the game that are already fully rigged, UV mapped and textured.
